About project
The history of population censuses in Russia is an opportunity to study the
country's past from a special angle.
The complex and interesting history of statistics includes the development of
agricultural technologies, and the vision of the prospects for the development
of Russia by Peter I, and the philosophical works of Leo Tolstoy.
The exhibition is timed to coincide with the All-Russian Population Census, the
main statistical event of the decade, thanks to which every resident of Russia
can leave his mark on the history of the country.
